Welcome to the group - these people are truly family -

and I have gotten so much from the years I have been

here. Everyone here really " gets it " , and the support

and information are priceless.

You are very lucky to have found a good doctor who

takes RA seriously - sorry for her that she also has

RA, but it is very fortunate for you to have found her

- she will truly understand you as well. Aggressive

treatment of RA from the first is very important, and

I am sorry if your first doctor dropped the ball on

that. You can't make up for treatment missed and

problems resultant from that, but your doctor now has

you on an excellent medication program, so I hope that

you will be able to stabilize.

I can relate to your feeling older than your age - I

am 51 and at times feel like 90 - and walk like it too

lol. Actually, sometimes little old people pass me by

which really embarasses me.

Anyway, just wanted to welcome you, and let you know

you are not alone -
