Compare and contrast this to our recent conversation on the possible role of stress. Since I'm open to the idea that stress doesn't cause this, but can make it worse, I'm also open to the idea that anything that reduces physical and emotional stress is likely to make Life With ME a little better. If we can keep it on that level, I'd be OK with it. But, as lifelong scholar of comparative religion, I'm well aware of many forms of " prayer, " and not thrilled at the prospect of discussing the virtues of one form over another when it comes to CFS. > I must say that after ten years of illness I find the fact that > Recuperation is working for me borders on a complete miracle. But I'm the kinda girl who likes her science and her religion served on different plates. When they get mixed up, it just makes a big mess.
