Guest guest
Hi All! I spoke with Dr. Ozan today: Here are my most recent numbers Tsh .=0.42 t3 280 t4 1.0 testosterone 27 estrogen 8 pregnanalone less than 10; The CBC and ferritin levels did not come out right so i have to retake those. He decided to discontinue the t3; keep armour at 1 1/2 gr. and hydrocortisone at 7.25; we are going to try pregnanalone 30 mg instead of progesterone since I reacted so violently to progesterone and I will go by and retake the ferritin levels. How does this sound? I am feeling better but not losing weight. Jan, you suggested that that might be due more to the excess t3 than anything. Does that sound right? Thanks for everything! steph
Guest guest
IMO, T4 and T3 look low. They should be at the top of the range. But, I guess if you feel okay you shouldn't worry... I usually feel lousy unless my T4 is at least 1.65. > Hi All! Guest guest
I got my lab test in today. Pregnanalone less than 10 range 10-230 T3 Total 209 range 60-181 l (sorry to say he did not take the free t3 - don't know why) T4 Free 1.0 range .8-1.0 testosterone 27 range 28-76 TSH 0.42 range .40-5.50 Estradiol 8 range postmenopausal less than 8 = 27 (?) So, I guess he was right in taking me off the T3? I am on 1.5 gr armour per day. I am taking 7.5 compounded hydrocortisone and 30 mg pregnanalone and 25 mg compounded estradiol. How does this sound? I am better, but most definitely not where Carol is Thanks in advance Steph

Guest guest
Is Unithroid a natural t4?
Guest guest
You don't need the extra T3. You do need more T4. It would be really good to have a Free T3 test at this time, so you can see how much wiggle room you have on the T3. If your Free T3 is not above range, You might want to try adding more Armour. Otherwise, i would suggest adding some Unithroid or other T4 med. 25 mg of estradiol sounds like a lot to me. Or is it mcg? sle816@... wrote: I got my lab test in today. Guest guest
..625 of ogen was the highest dose I was ever on. I'm thinking that the 25 mgs is incorrect, bound to be. I think that nay estrogen is prescribed mostly in tenths or around there, that is, estradiol. Re: Re: my numbers You don't need the extra T3. You do need more T4. Guest guest
Could that be a typo where you have the highest # on the Free T4 range as a "1", where maybe it could actually be a "1.8"? Adrenal is low low low. Re: Re: my numbers I got my lab test in today.
