Guest guest
: I don't know about a side effect of Plaquenil, but I know when I am in a bad flare, I have trouble breathing or a heaviness in my chest. I know that RA can cause the lining of the lungs and heart with inflammation. Make sure to talk with your doc, just incase. All the best, --- In , " eandsspivey " <ereese@c...> wrote: > > Hi all. Guest guest
I am having problems with my lungs due to the RA and not due to the Plaquinil according to my Rhuemy. I had a chest xray done and it showed right upper lobe pneumonia on a Tuesday, I went in for a MRI of my lungs on Friday and it showed the right upper lobe had cleared up and I now had infiltrate showing in my left lower lung. My Rheumy said the RA is affecting my lungs in this manner. He also said I could go in for another xray in a couple of days, and it would show up infiltrate in another area of my lungs. I have congestion that you speak of, and there is a little drainage that I can cough up especially in the mornings. I am not taking my Plaquinil for the moment and still have these symptoms, so I'm sure its not coming from the med, but from the disease. Hope this helps Hugs -- Re: [ ] Re: Chest congestion Please check with your doctor,if you have RA It can attack your lungs. Guest guest
> > Hello, > What can I do for chest congestion? I can breathe fine but it hurts bad when I cough. I know this is simply die off but is there any way I can loosen this junk up? +++Hi Tammy. There's a few things you can do to help loosen up your chest - see this article on Cold, Cough & Flu Treatments: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/colds.php > > Also, I have always done the water enemas before the coffee ones. To save on time can I just do either the water or the coffee and which one would be better then? +++The reason you do a water enema first is to clean out the colon before doing the coffee enema. The coffee enema has a different purpose than water enemas - please review the coffee enema article where it explains the benefits of it. The best to you, Bee
