Guest guest
E:-}Greetings: First things First Stella! Take a deep Breath and look at this you have been given not as one big lump of coal. Instead pick up a hammer and break the lump into smaller pieces. Once you do that you may find it easier to live with. As to the medical conditions one of the best things you can do is learn about them. Knowledge is power and when you start to find out what you can do and not do you may feel more at ease. Anytime one loses a loved one that is traumatic. Losing two loved ones so close together is even harder. I have walked those trails more than once. The only hope I can offer is that grief will fade and loving memories will come to the fore. You also talk about stress, work and education almost in one breath. Several descriptive words come to mind when I read [snip] I am not working due to stress, pain and the inability to handle 8 hours of work a day right now. I am working on a Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems. [snip] Words that come to mind are concern, dread, and fear to name a few. These are valid and I am not trying to put you down. When it comes to bills and making ends meet others like you have problems. We have had to learn how to be frugal, how to keep in touch with creditors. Remember creditors to some extent are human beings too. One of the best pieces of information I can offer you is that talk and interact with the people you own money too. Some may chuckle and even laugh at this statement, but I have found from personal experience that keeping creditors informed works. There are many sites that offer lots of frugal information. If required I will gladly send you the URL's and answer questions. You also say that [snip] I am not sure if I will be able to hold a job in that field with the things that seem to be happening to me lately. [snip] You may not believe me when I say this but everything that happens to us is a lesson we are supposed to learn. I will set that aside for now. If you are concerned about finding work, take some time an think about your current condition and what you are learning. Next, in your mind or on paper design a job that you can do. This exercise might help you relieve stress. Think positively. If you have trouble staying on the computer, start looking for aides that alleviate this problem. This could be voice technology like Dragon Naturally Speaking 5, large trackball mouse pointers; I use a Kensington expert mouse. The ball in this mouse is the size of a large billiard ball. I have even seen left-handed keyboards. Solutions are out there. Work on the little pieces. Be Blessed D.
