Just had to tell someone, I am very concerned about my mom's roomate.

In the last few weeks I have watched her go from a very talkitive person who

was always sitting up to someone who is laying FLAT on her back. And talking

two or three words at a time and stopping and not making any sence. She was

always butting in and talking up a storm. She told me a couple of weeks ago

that she was discontinueing her two of her medications because they make her

cheeks fat. She is on anti depressents. Anyway she just called and told me

moms needs her television remmote control fixed. I told her my son would be

over after school to fix it. She couln't seem to relay the message to mom,

she kept telling her I wasn't up yet or was busy now. Anyway the CNA or

someone called me to ask about it and I asked them what is wrong with Doris.

She says, I don't know she has been acting this way for about a week now. I

said well, is she on a diffrent medication or anything she is not herself at

alll, I am worried about her. The nurse says, I don't know all we do is tend

to their needs, it's up to her doctor. Well, damm, it doesn't even sound

like they are telling her doctor. I intend to inquire more tonight when I go

to visit mom. I will get her son or daughters number. I hope they are taking

care of her. My mom says the staff are treating her like she is crazy and

saying stuff behind her back. Oh, what a terrific place to be.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, Shirley

ps, sorry last message went through before I was finished.
