Guest guest
E:-}Greetings: When one has Chronic pain a person still may want to be productive and part of society. But where does one start? My suggestion would be to pick up the phone book and a large notepad and start researching and asking people questions. Start looking for local agencies and your local politican for answers. If you are of working age and your local area has say retraining then by all means try and qualify. Registering can open doors for you. Are there retraining programmes for those needing to change jobs?. What equipment can you access to help you move into a new job? There is an interesting article from the APS -- American Pain Society. See URL. http://www.ampainsoc.org/pub/bulletin/jul00/clin1.htm A second article with good questions can be found here.
