Guest guest Posted April 5, 2003 Report Share Posted April 5, 2003 My mother - in advanced stages of LBD - has gotten a cold. She was very lethargic today with her head dropping more than usual. She has gotten my Dad's cold which was long and difficult for him to fight off. It looks like she could easily go into pneumonia. We are running a humidifier and trying to help her blow her nose. You have to help her much like a 2 year old. Mom can not feed herself and is in the 86 pound range. (She only weighed 120 pounds in her healthy days) We lift her from the bed to the wheelchair and to the toilet. She has no movement of her legs on her own and very limited with her arms and hands.
