Guest guest
Great idea! I have a front loading washer and a dryer that is stacked on top of it. I have my daycare kids hand me the wet clothes a little at a time. I don't have to bend over or anything. The 3-year-olds beg to help me with the laundry because I let them push the buttons. When I tell them that I don't know what I'd do without them they just beam--it makes them feel so worthwhile. I have another 8-year-old girl who loves to help me. I pay her a dollar when she picks up all the toys or when she carries stuff down to the basement or up from the basement for me. You'd be surprised how much help kids can be with their strong little arms and legs and their eagerness to be useful--and they're cheap! I love kids because they understand more than anyone about limitations....laura yasdnilnoyl <lindsaylyon@...> wrote:Ok, so maybe some of you have already had this idea I had tonight, but I thought I'd share just in case you didn't. I was attempting to do laundry. I put the clothes in the basket and went to pick it up...OW OW OW OW!!! Dumb move, I know. So I got the idea to go get a dollie! So I drove my butt up to Target nad got a little dollie for $15. WHAT A BIG HELP! woo-hoo! Now just to figure out how to get the heavy, wet clothes from the washer to the dryer...
