Guest guest Posted November 26, 2005 Report Share Posted November 26, 2005 Hi ~ Endep/Elavil is generic 'amitriptoline', an older antidepressant that is often used to treat sleep disturbances and muscles aches in fibromyalgia. Would you mind telling me the dose you are on? The first few days one can feel a little druggy the following morning. I was on it a long time...starting at a very low dose, then moving up some. It took a few days before I saw any help, but it did help with sleeping and muscle pain. If I can help somehow, please let me know. Love...
