Arrrrrren't we fortunate to have such great medical care these days. The

longer you wait on the fusions the more liklihood that there can be further

damage. Think wisely.!! Timed released Morphine..is she speaking of the

Let's see...At last count, both wrists carpal tunnel, right wrist removal of a

lot of scar tissue, right elbow tennis elbow surgery, appendectomy, C3-C4

fusion, Right knee meniscus removal, right knee tumor removal, right knee

lateral release and patellar shaving, left knee lateral release, left knee

patellar shaving times two. Doesn't count all the ER visits to sew up cuts and

such. (19 stitches in my thumb from a rogue chainsaw for example!)

Too many medical tests and procedures to count.

i ended up hurting the other side of my back lifting

something to heavy.fighting a seetle with the company

i worked for 3yrs.they offered me 500.00 $ i told them

that wouldnt plar for 1 of my mris.i ve been to

seaverl otho docs went to phyical therpy and even went

to the pain clinicfor the cordizion shotshad 2 before

my 1st surgery then had 1 so far why spend 900.00$ and

you have it done and it fails.im out the money.they

tried neorition seemed to help a little for a while

but the price is outragous.then we went to the

hydrocodone and the oxyicodone. after a while you

build up a resistance and it take more to take the

arent cheap either about 35 to 40 dollars a patch they

are suppose last for 3 days 2 days for sure im on the

strong i like the 75 the 100is way to strong.last time

he gave me 100 i spent the 3 days on the couch i think

they come in morphine or demoral they are the best

relief i have found. hard to get sometimes very

addtivesome docters wont even prescribe them.they

scrip me for 4 at a time so that last for 12days then

take a wk of suffering then get back on them. it take

about 6hr to even get the medicine to soak through you

skin to even to start to get relief if you can afford

them its the most effective way ive found. hopefully

soon they will decide if they want to do surgery or

not not sure if im up for a nother surgery but not

sure if i want to be in pain for the rest of my life

im only 38 got lots of living to do yet.hope i have

given you some kind of information all the luck to you

Yup, it's called chosing my parents wrong! LOL! From both sides of the family I

have bad bone, joint and immune diseases. They just all kicked in with me. I

also have fibromyalgia and most of the things that accompany it. Lupus and RA

also run in the family but thankfully not me yet.

Partly it's been genetics but the main thing (in my mind) has been the US Navy

taking such a conservative approach to the initial injury. When I first hurt it,

they acted like nothing was wrong and delayed doing anything for 6 months. That

either allowed or caused a tumor to grow in the knee. Because I was still

expected to work full time, it caused me to favor that knee and it ruined the

other one. Bad joints run in the family and I'm the negative cumulation of

several generation of bad stuff. I've already been told I'll be in a wheelchair

(because of all the joints in the body) in less than 10 years if things keep

progressing. I'm hoping for new medical discoveries but right now I'm just

trying to make the best of it.

Can you give me an account of your experiences with it? Good points and bad

points while using it. How does it compare to other meds you are taking as far

as pain relief and side-effects?
