Hi Jan -- isn't this amazing. So many states and so many countries. I often

just shake my head in awe at the miles that just fall away when I'm on the

computer.

Jan, I was having a little fun with you earlier -- hope I didn't upset you.

Sure didn't mean to if I did.

Hi Shirley -- I think Jan missed seeing Sally's messages. Jan, Sally just

recently lost her Mom. I imagine she's been checking on us when she feel's

she is able to. I look forward to seeing her posts once again one of these

days.

I stand technically corrected. I put Sally in England which I guess

isn't correct when listing countries. Geez, I should know this stuff

at my age. Or put another way...I shouldn't have to know this stuff

at my age.

Yeah, it is amazing...and as someone pointed out...not an accent

among 'em.:)

Not possible Joni...I can see the smile on your face every time I

read your posts...can you see mine right now? It must be our mutual

Irish/German background.

I was reminded today just why I sold my business to stay home with

Daddy. I spent an hour and a half answering his endless questions

about his medications, why he takes them and when. My husband came

into the room twice and gave me a loving smile as he shut the door

behind him to leave us to our circular conversation. It was worth it

to finally see a smile on Daddy's face, knowing he felt comfortable

in what he had finally figured out...at least for now.

Peace...

From my memory, I also remember more from the USA (NC/MO/IL/IN/MI), and

I too, probably have missed some.

BTW, I spoke on the phone to Emma today. Yes, I made an international

call, and spoke directly to her. What a most amazing, wonderful

conversation we had. I must have met her in another life, as the

comfort and knowledge of feeling that I have known her forever was very

evident. She is a lovely person with a huge, caring heart.

Just wanted to share the most exciting part of my life lately.

Hugs to all!

That brings it to 18 states. Wow.

What a wonderful thing to do for both you and Emma. That is really

exciting news. Now when you read eachother's posts you can add in

the accents.

Hugs...

Yes, I will add in the Australian accent, but what I don't understand is

Emma said I have an accent. Surely she must be wrong. LOL

It was a wonderful, bonding and heartfelt type of conversation. One I

will never forget.

Oh, also, did we put in the state of NY? Bertha is from NY. Can't

remember the list now. Anyway, 18 or possibly 19 states, wow. And with

this, we have such a diverse group of people that is here all for the

same cause. Looking past heritage, environment, and society...straight

to the heart for support. This truly is an amazing group of people.

Thank you for the hugs, and I will surely collect them in person in

August. Sorry, am still waiting to hear on hotel arrangements. The 3

major ones on downtown La Crosse were full due to a Convertible Classics

Convention the same week, so my contact is checking on more.

Sending hugs right back to you from Iowa-

Sandie

Bertha, on Staten Island, NYC, NY, who often drives by the site on S. I. of

the initial repository of WTC remains and who, daily since 9/11/01, misses

the majestic sight of the WTC which had been visible thirty miles away,

across Staten Island and New York Bay.
