Guest guest
I wake up every morning feeling achy and stiff all over, especially my hands and knees. When I sit on the floor to change my daughters diaper or get on the floor to play with her, I can't hardly get up, my knees become real stiff in just a short period of time and it hurts to get up. My doctor said that my hands look a little like rheumatoid hands so he ran blood work and took lower back xrays and shoulder xrays (due to bursitits in right shoulder and clicking sounds in my shoulder.) I went shopping the other day and within an hour my back hurt so bad I had to bend over a cart to try to get relief, I ended up having to come home. I'm 29 years old and I don't feel this is normal. I went to the hospital to get a copy of my lab reusluts, I don't go back to the doctor until tomorrow to find out the results but I'm curious. I will type the test then results then expected range Rheumatoid FAc. QNT. 16 IU/ml expected less than 15 In comments it reads This result is flagged ABNORMAL HIGH HLA B27 Negative A (what does A mean) Negative Westergren Sed Rate 8 mm/hr expected 0-20 CPK results 64 U/L expected 24-170 Uric Acid 3.6 mg/dl expected 2.6-8.0 C-Reactive Protein 0.50 mg/l exptected less than 10.0 Aldolase 4.6 U/L expected less than 7.4 Anti-Nuclear Aby 0.7 Negative expected less than 1.0 Does any of these results show I have rheumatoid? What does the Rheumatoid blood test mean? The doctors nurse called me on Tuesday and left a message for me to call her when I got the message. I didn't get it until after the office was closed and they weren't open yesterday so I'm calling today. I'm just curious. I have started Naproxen 600 mg the week of Thanksgiving. I will say I'm not hurting as much as I was before I started the meds. Still have pain but has gotten a little better. Thanks for your help. What ever you can answer.
