I also have a brother who suffers from alcoholism and I don't know how he is managing to hold down his job with all of his drinking. He has lost almost everything. All he has left is his license, job and an apartment. He has lost his home, wife, daughter, etc. I keep thinking that this is rock bottom, but he keeps on drinking. It breaks my heart to watch him follow in our mother's footsteps with the alcohol, but there is truly nothing I can do to get him to stop. He has to want to. I just keep praying for him as well.
