Guest guest
Oh and I forgot to mention the most eye opening part of my appointment. He asked me to open my mouth and relax my tongue, he saw " tongue indentations " ; classic hypo symptoms. He said you probablyu didn't notice it b/c it hasn't affected your speech. I remembered reading that a swollen tongue as a classic hypo sign. I looked at my tongue after I left, and sure enough there are teeth indentations on both sides. I cannot stress enough how important it is to NEVER give up and always stay in prayer, when searching for a doctor. > Hello All, > > I've posted my story here before, so I won't go into the sordid > details. Guest guest
Congratulations, Carolyn! I am so happy to hear that you found a wise and caring and knowledgable doctor. Now I am going to have to retract the statement I made about Gyn's! Okay, I'll qualify it so say " most Gyn's! " I'm so glad you're finally getting treatment. Yes, please let us know how it goes! I hope this doctor will check your Free T3 level along with your Free T4 level, since he (she?) has prescribed Armour. Do try to have patience if you've been sick for a long time, it can take some time to get to feeling better. But you're on the road. Isn't that a terrific feeling? ) > Hello All, > I finally found a doc that paid attention to my > Free T4 levels and not my TSH. >
Guest guest
Thanks !!! I really appreciate it! That's why I said I'll update you guys in three months, I am going to have patience. I already work out an hour and half a day and I'm on a low car/low glycemic diet, so my doc said I should be good to go on symptom relief. I'm just thanking god that I'm not CRAZY!!! I'm very athletic, so I noticed my metabolism decrease immediately. Of course I had to hear " check your calorie intake " and a host of other reasons why I gained 20 lbs in 6 months... Anyways I will be sure to update everyone on journey with Armour. I'm also taking bio-identiacal Progesterone, so I'll keep yall posted on that too. Thanks again:) > > Hello All, > > > I finally found a doc that paid attention to my > > Free T4 levels and not my TSH. > >
Guest guest
Who is your doc that pays attention to hypo symptoms? And, yes, the real test will come when your TSH is suppressed but you are still undermedicated. Whut will he doo then?Carolyn wrote: Oh and I forgot to mention the most eye opening part of my appointment.
