Thank you to all of you who have sent me your kind thoughts and prayers for

my daughter. I'm driving up to her on Thursday. The doctor has told her she

will spend at least a week on her stomach. She's the type that can't sit

still for a minute. I guess I will be the one taking care of her heard of

animals while she's mending. She lives on a wildlife rescue ranch and many

of the critters are all around her house. You never know what may come thru

the door when you go outside. Might be a pig then again it might be an Emu.

I'll post after her surgery to tell you all how things go.

Again, Thank you very much for all your kind wishes.

For some reason after reading this post, learning some great baby

shower tips, and uses for the diapers, I just wanted to say....thanks

" Heloise. " (am I dating myself?)

Thank you for the information as to the Hospice House. I hope to get

there before the baby shower. It is scheduled at 1:30. Still have to

shop for some diaper pins...don't think anyone sells them anymore.

Found the cloth diapers...and no diaper pins. I am using them to wrap

my gift...they make great burp cloths, and dusting rags.

Maybe I will see you there later.

Thanks to P.J. and for the warm welcome. I am a SAHM to 5

children ages 16, 11, 9, 6, and 3. I'd always been able to see of

positive side of things. Last summer I lost my baby son very

unexpectedly. He was two days old. For the first time I cannot

say " things work out for the best. " I have been trying to regain my

optimism and not let the sadness I feel permeate all areas of my

life. Every day is a bit easier-there is so much to grateful for. We

are very blessed to be expecting a new baby in Sept.

My two youngest children are especially inspiring. I treasure the

look on their faces when they first wake up. They look so excited

abt the day ahead, w/o a care in the world.

I've enjoyed reading your posts. Thank you for sharing your thoughts

and feelings.
