Guest guest
Hi Tracie: I have been using a CPAP machine now for almost three months, and it has definately helped me to get better rest, restorative sleep, and it does help you be able to better cope with the pain, etc. of RA. Sleep is very important - without good sleep, we experience more stress which leads to more pain. The mask is not all that bad, just have to get used to it. I am a side-sleeper so it sometimes gets a little uncomfortable against the pillow on whatever side I am on, but the straps are easy to adjust so I just loosen it and readjust it. I still wake up several times at night because of hip and leg pain, but after taking a pain pill, being on the CPAP does help in my getting back to sleep easier. My husband is very happy with it as well, as I don't snore anymore lol. I would encourage you to try it - Kathe in CA --- tracierae143 <tracierae143@...> wrote: > Hello all, > > Does anyone in the group also have sleep apnea and > by any chance are > you on CPAP?
