You don't have to leave because you " just " have OA

lol. You have pain, it's in your joints, stick

around! As far as Fibro is concerned, no there is no

lab work or x-rays that will show it.

Dx is done through syptoms, physical exam, and

especially through trigger point tests. These trigger

points are located throughout your body and when

pressed, even lightly, in someone with FM, it causes

pain. I have pain in most of these trigger points, as

well as many of the other problems associated with FM.

For my FM, I take Ultracet (pain), Effexor XR

(anti-depressant), Skelaxin (muscle relaxant),

Trazadone (sleep aid), and Zanaflex (muscle

relaxant/sleep aid). So, for me, treatment of my FM

is in controlling the pain, and getting more

restorative sleep.
