Guest guest Posted March 26, 2005 Report Share Posted March 26, 2005 Gosh, Jan, I hope you get to go to some beautiful services. Easter can be a life-affirming occasion. Mostly, I'm getting ready to do some ancillary cooking for my family-- I'm going to attempt a Baba Au Rhum, which I won't be eating because it is basically a bread product. Except for the Baba, everything else we're making for the E. holiday is totally BB friendly. I'm so glad my family is being flexible about this. Sorry for blathering, but I'm really excited that I have enough energy to do a little cooking. Courtenay. Last night was Holy Thursday. We had Mass. Today is Good Friday. I just came home from Stations of the Cross. Tonight, I will be at the Good Friday Communion Service. Saturday night is the Easter Vigil. Sunday is Easter. Guest guest Posted March 26, 2005 Report Share Posted March 26, 2005 I've been working all week, but I'm now off for a 3 day weekend. Boy, did I get lucky this yr! Anyway, I've been 10 toes up this week, when I come in from work, plus all the changes with a new apartment. I'm tireder than usual, so I just have learned to sort of go into a mode of getting as much rest as possible both before and after major events. Tomorrow, though (Easter), it's going to be a day out at one of my daughter's, hiding the eggs, cooking out, etc....It should be fun. Where is everyone? > > > Wow!!
