Sherlock is a stray also that we think was dumped. He was so spoiled to

soft food that he stinketh LOL I can smell his breath across the room.

We have had him about 2 yrs. Anyway, we think he is about 4-5 yrs old. He

is a reddish blond. He is a really great dog. He usually sits under my

feet at the computer, follows me everywhere. He used to stay under the

bed all day till my hubby got home but I think he likes me more now )

He is so great w/ Kaiyah, our special needs daughter. She loves on him

alot )

For this I am so grateful.

Stray dogs can be some of the best that are out there! We adopted a

stray for my oldest daughter who is in medical school (last fall), and the two

of them go everywhere together! She is always talking to " Mishka " , and Mishka

talks back. From what we can tell, this adoption was worth every penny! And, I

mean every penny as we got her spayed, all the shots, heartworm, etc. etc. Of

course, we had to purchase a dog crate, toys, food, etc. She sits in her little

car seat and when they come to visit we see this puppy sitting upright in its

car seat in the passenger front seat of her car! It's pretty funny now that I

think about it! The vet guessed that Mishka was about 6-9 months old when we

adopted her as a stray. Dogs are so wonderful, that's all I've got to say!

That is so nice to hear. I think all children should grow up with animals. I

think its good for children.
