Hi everybody my name is and I live in new jersey, i'm 39 years

old going to be the big 40 this year and not looking forward to

that...I've been going thru alot of stress at work, I work for an oil

company and this is the time of year when things get really hectic,

plus my general manager is a moron...but that's another story, I've

been with the same partner for 4 years now and we are for the most

part happy, my stress has thrown me into panic attacks and its

driving me nuts, I take xanax at the lowest dose possible when I need

to, but I try hard not to take it...I'm not a pill popper, just not

for me although it does help me thru the attacks once in a while, I'm

also having stomach problems or something going on with me and of

course because I'm a nervous person I let my mind wonder and always

think the worst, I'm a bit overweight and have been on the atkins

diet for almost a year and have done well on it losing about 57

pounds and still counting...my goal is to go another 40lbs....my home

life for the most part is serene,,,my partner is caring and loving

and always there for me....my goal is to get these panic attacks

under control and de-stress my life as much as possible, and to start

to do things that I've never done before and venture out more often,

not just work and home,,,,I've recently started to journal thru the

gentle pushing on my partners words to do so,,,,and I've found it is

helping me...I find it very hard to put my feelings into words, but

I'm definitely trying and have been told by many people they can see

the difference...I'm consciously trying every day now to be peaceful,

I've just completed Dr.Phils " authentic self " and now I'm listening

to nne on on tape....so help me out if you can and I'll

keep reading and posting when I can....thanks in advance ...thats it

for now...
