I am a SAHM to 4 homeschooled kids, my youngest is special needs. She is

my inspiration & I have grown immeasurably thru her. I tell everyone that

she & I are growing up together ) She is almost 8 now.

I am a seeker & learner. So I am looking for daily reminders of what life

is all about. I tend to get stuck in my mental patterns & committed this

year to choose not to go there.

Here is my first Affirmation gift to you all:

" Autobiography Of My Life "

Chapter 1

I walk down a street...there's a deep hole in the sidewalk. I fall in!

I'm lost, I'm helpless...it isn't my fault...it takes forever to find a

way out.

Chapter 2

I walk down the same street...there's a deep hole in the sidewalk. I

pretend I don't see it...I fall in again...I can't believe I am in the

same place but it isn't my fault...it still takes a long time to get out.

Chapter 3

I walk down the same street...there's a deep hole in the sidewalk. I see

it there...I still fall in...it's a habit...my eyes are open. I know

where I am...it is my fault...I get out immediately.

Chapter 4

I walk down the same street...there's a deep hole in the sidewalk. I walk

around it.

Chapter 5

I walk down another street.

Addendum by Consegrity (this is in the Consegrity manual I use)

Chapter 6

I don't take the deep hole in the sidewalk with me to another street or

call it by another name & lovingly decorated it till it disguises what it

really is. I just choose to let it go. I don't even look at the old

street as I pass.
