Guest guest
Well, I started Valtex/Diflucan last month. Despite having done Diflucan in the past several times, my son is going through a horrible yeast die-off right now. We are on day six of not eating. Before this it was horrible constipation, then massive poop, then vomiting, now fasting with water only. His tummy is so small. I have never seen this before with him. He has gone this long without eating with a flu, but his tummy still never flattend out. One more thing, when he was taking the Valtrex, his tummy was SO rumbly. It was like a storm in there. I knew it was doing something. I googled Yeast die off and found some info that said if you are heavy metal poisoned, the die off is worse. My son is being chelated with IV EDTA for lead. I hope he eats tomorrow. I think the measles virus lives in your gut, too. Isn't that what the that doctor in England found out? His name momentarliy escapes me. Have you thought about Valtrex/Diflucan? Maybe someone else can weigh in if Valtrex/Diflucan would help a high measles titer? I just looked at my son's measles, taken at the same time of the HHV-6. It says greater than 1:32 and range is less than 1:8. Interpretaion: past infection. I think that is bad, but the HHV-6 is 1:320, reference range less tha 1:10, so that problem is worse. Guest guest
We are about to start Val and Dif soon...we are on Flagyl with Dif right now...my kiddo seems to be hunger striking a bit too...however, the behavior you are describing could be about viral reactions to Valtrex, not yeast ones to the Diflucan. I wish you the best and I am saying a little prayer....read the Valtrex file and see if anyh of those experiences match your own....Andy Wakefield is the doc you are thinking of...I have heard he is a hero and from others a criminal...I don;t personally know enough to comment. Keep us all posted as to how it goes...as for the measles, I think it responds to the Vitamin A protocol...others mayh know about it in relation to Valtrex. Guest guest
I believe most people that have do DAN and have high measles titers do the Vit A protocol. Unfortunately I don't have any more info for you as I'm not very familiar with dealing with measles titers. We have high HHV-6 and EBV.CherylThe measles titer was 213.3 when 13 is positive---what are you doing for the high titers in your child????? Guest guest
My grtandson has the same HHV6 titer count. Could that be some high standard number they stop at? It seems so many have exactly that same number. MaurineCheryl Lowrance wrote: 320 for HHV-6 is high. cheryl What do mean exactly? My son’s HHV-6 was 320. Guest guest
The titer numbers for HHV-6 are in increments. The next step up from 320 is 640 (my son's titers). Because the titers for HHV-6 are in ratios, there is a specific count number that gets used.CherylMy grtandson has the same HHV6 titer count. Could that be some high standard number they stop at? Guest guest
FWIW....I did some research and found that a supplement called transfer factor may help to get rid of HHV6. We just started it so we do not yet know if it actually works. It seems easy to try. --- Luce wrote: > Cheryl, My daughterr has high HHV-6 and Strep > also--so what are you doing for the HHV??
