again, i will make the point, since the system is broken, since we have the data which shows better outcomes, since the current fee structure rewards utilization and procedures to the detriment of cognitive ability, since complicated additional revenue-generating schemes such as p4p probably will be used against us, why not keep it simple and negotiate better payment for now, then add other currently mostly non-payable care, such as email and telephone calls?that would be a good starting point.i believe that schemes other than the above will only delay increased payment for our services, and allow others to dictate to us.let's keep it simple, continue to demonstrate improvement in our outcomes, and demand better payment.if we do so, and continue to publicize it, we and our allies (oh, yes, them!), can demand that insurers change their methods. and i bet they will.LL
