I only OFFERED to marry him Tim, he declined saying that he did not want

any trouble

I did not go into the bar to my credit I was describing what services were

avaailable ot me:)

There were no more rental cars no blankies no cots no " hotels " but due

to the virute of clean hot water a cup of tea and Mr Eads talking to me at 7

am I am much imporved as it si a beautiful day and the rockies are outside

and off the to right.

I’ve

been ignoring all the Camp messages..feeling

sorry for my self that I couldn’t go, yada yada yada…

But some things are meant to be….

If I had gone, there would’ve been

no one in my office today….When lightening struck the building, knocking

out the power, frying part of my computer network and causing a water pipe in

the ceiling in the middle of the office to be blasted off the side of a water

heater. No one would’ve

known that water was pouring into the office until either enough came in to

leak on down to the next floor below, or until the janitors came in …. six hours later…..

As it was, we were there and were able to

carry trash cans of water to the commode for the 30 minutes it took for the property

management guys to come with a ladder to get to the shut off valve….We

had a pretty big puddle in the floor from the initial explosion, but nothing

vital got wet.

So…now I’m feeling thankful

rather than sad that I am not with you all. Next time I will hope that I feel rich

enough to go, AND to pay someone to check on the office while I’m gone. Meanwhile I will just be thankful for

small, rather than huge, disasters.

It wasn’t any of the

computers that got fried, thank goodness.

It was the faxpress “box” I’m

not sure exactly is in it, but it acts a lot like a modem: fax line plugs into

it, then it is hooked up to the computer.. The wireless router also took a hit, but

after I disconnected it and let it sit for a while it started working again..

Keeping my fingers crossed that I won’t

have to spend too much to get this sorted out.
