Hi Lori

It was my feet that were first affected and that led me to the doctors then

rheumatologist and finally being diagnosed with seropositive RA, the balls

of my feet are always hurting, the medication does not take the pain away,

it hopefully helps stop the disease progressing. So you need to take

painkillers for the pain. Most of the medications take up to 3 months to

feel the benefit from, my rheumatologist has just suggested I try Plaquenil

in conjunction with the Sulphasalazine I am taking. Just out of interest

has anyone had any side effects from this drug, unfortunately I always seem

to get side effects from medication sometimes very severe, my GP said that

people who suffer from Fibromyalgia are often very sensitive to medications

I wonder how true that is?
