Come and tell DADS your issues such as you want adult services in place for the disabled when your son or daughter grows up. What kind of living arrangement do you envision for your individual. What should they do to help serve your child better? Is it necessary to speed up the waiver process? Any ideas of where the funding should come from to support such? How about the old folks? Some states even have HCS for old folks. I will tell you that Texas is not serving their aged like they should be doing. Some of the other states have really stepped up to the plate.
