I am interested in ANY help finding resources around our area (Clear

Lake, Friendswood, etc).

Right now we are waiting to start the ASD diagnosis evaluations at

Texas Children's Hospital. We should be able to start in July. My

son is receiving Speech Therapy from ECI 6 times a month (although I

do not feel that it is enough). I don't know what I should be doing

righ now. I also have a 4 yr old daughter. She is handling things

very well, but I see that she is getting frustrated with all

the " waiting around " for some time with me. I am having a hard time

effectivley including my daughter in the day to day play/therapy

(suggested by ECI) with my son.

Are there classes, groups around the Houston area to help with these

types of things (family time, effects on older siblings, support

groups or even play groups)?

I am trying to read several books (Engaging Autism, The Out od Sync

Child, The Boy Who Loved Windows) and losts of stuff about GF/CF

diet. Its all so overwhelming, and I'm not sure what I should be

putting the most focus on.

Do most of you have a pretty regular " schedule " (wake-up routines,

play-time, meal routines, etc) around your house. I would love any

advice on scheduling if you would like to share.

Sorry about the rambling, but I feel so lost all of the time.

Thanks,

Mandy
