Guest guest
I took planquinil several years ago, I remember the doctor telling me at the time this drug can take up to three months to take effect. Do any of you ever feel like you toes are about to cramp up? That is how I have been feeling for the last couple of days. I don't actually have any cramping in my toes or feet, just the feeling.......if that makes any sense. I have been on Plaquinil since Tuesday, but I don't notice any improvement, if anything my feet feel a little worse each day. Is this one of those medications where first things get worse before they get better? Lori in Southern California
Guest guest
Lori, I have RA in my feet also. I am very well controlled on my meds at this point, but I can sure remember the days when they felt as how you describe your feet. I used to tell people that it felt like I was barefooted walking on gravel all the time. Each step was so painful. I found that my balance wasn't as good because I would step oddly trying to find how to land on my foot that was the least painful therefore making me unbalanced. The only time I have problems with my feet now are if I have been on my feet for a long time or standing in one spot for a long time. I currently am on Arava 3 times a week and Enbrel twice a week. Hope this helps Terri [ ] feet pain >I am newly diagnosed with RA and I am experiencing alot of pain in my > feet, especially the balls of my feet and my toes.
