Guest guest Posted December 16, 2005 Report Share Posted December 16, 2005 hi all, just a note to say that my supervisor sent me home from work today, you see I went into work for a case conference meeting. My face was swollen and I told someone that my jaw felt as if someone had kicked me in my face. so I checked my sugar blood levels and it was 391 i'm a type 2 diabetic i take two oral meds. any ways I really got scared at 4 am this morning when i was awoken with a really bad case of hives .. my face/neck and entire head was itchy and covered with hives (6 weeks of hives now) sorry if i'm rambling to fast .. I went to the doctors this afternoon with the concern of ... sugar level 400 range, my jaw felt as if it was swollen, upper lip felt tingly, the bottom of my feet feel as if i have bumps or marbles, & my fingers are hard to bend... the doctor took my blood pressure(not sugar level), he listened to my heart/breathing , looked inside my mouth and upped my actos 15 mgs higher(sugar oral med) i'm seeing the allergist on Monday ..!! I really can't go on this way much longer. i feel like i'm whinning to much , I just don't understand all this and why it's happening. peace, Gayle, who really wants her rainbows back !!!
