Guest guest
Hello everyone, I have been reading all of your posts for a while now. You all are such great advocates for your children. It is wonderful to see. As a special education teacher, I thank you! I need some advice. I work for a school district. There is a change that is going to happen with some of the students I work with and I do not think that it is appropriate and wonder if it is legal. The parents are aware of the change that is going to happen, and I know some are not happy, but do not know what to do about it. I know that a lot of the parents just don't know to be informed or how to fight. I need advice on what I can say to the parents as a district employee and how much I can push them to speak up their opinions. I just think that what is going to happen to the placement of these children is not in the best intrest for the family or the students involved. If any of you are lawyers, please e mail me privatly with any advice. Thank you for your time and continue to stand up for your child!
