To answer your questions, please see below:

This was on my first post:

" I introduced OLE and Virastop and it was a night and day

difference. I credit these for helping him to finally become fully

verbal and understandable to everyone else. In fact, I did it for 8-9

months a year and a half ago and I am waiting to re-start in about 1

month to see if it aids in clearing up some residual issues. "

Yes, there were behaviors, pretty intolerable ones with lots of

aggresion, stimming and super-duper hyperactivity and sensory issues

with Valtrex (and believe me I AM PATIENT!) and then when I

eventually after 8-9 months of Valtrex switched to OLE and Virastop,

there were behaviors, but they were more tolerable this time around.

I believe I started seeing results (in my son's case) within 6-8

weeks of starting OLE and then adding Virastop (I did this on my own

but contacted my DAN dr. to fill him in, eventually). I had a gut

feeling about this, was determined and followed it. I am glad I did.

This was in conjunction with ABA Verbal Behavior type program I had

been running for years as well as my determination to get this child

to speak since I encouraged and always saw a strong desire from his

part. He was already reading (dx: Hyperlexic, too) at 2.5 years old,

which can be incredible but at the same time complicated as well. I

figured, if he can read, he must be able to speak at some point...

Again, this is my own personal experience, so you have to see what

you can do in all areas to assist your child.

Wow! Thank you. I bought some OLE and I am prepared to use it

whether by pulsing or in addition to. I just want to give acyclovir

(I thought they were the same...), some time, and so far on day 2,

he seems to be responding well. There is a fever and some coughing.

There is some emotional flare-ups but they are manageable. There has

been a decrease in stimming and no hand flapping since I switched

from Nystatin to Diflucan, and that remains the same so far. Maybe

it is too soon to tell. Will continue to report status.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience.

Thanks Cheryl for sharing all of that with us. I made a note on

It sounds like your daughter may have a mercury

toxicity problem with the rhogam, amalgams and vaccine

exposure. Have you run the French Labs urinary

porphyrins profile analysis to see how much mercury,

lead and other metls are inside of her? you may want

to consider chelation therapy.

We did the French Labs test and our mercury was 4x's the max reference amount. All other metals were ok. We are hoping to chelate once we get her gut healthy. Thank you!

You will not like this post...I did not like it when I got this advice - love those immediate results too...Get Breaking the Vicious Cycle, go SCD, minus casein ASAP...you may see BIG gains, we did, but our guy is 2 and 2 mo...at 5 it could take a bit longer, but you will know if this is the way you need to go...post this diet, the nasal spray was helpful...if her gut is badly injured all the supplements and other goodies will go the way of the food that you try to feed her - it will do nothing much or worse it will actually harm despite your good intentions. Actually get and read the book...and then hook up with others who are on that path. YOu are on a site created by a man who as much as he loves

biomed tells people DO THAT DIET...and for good reason. It sets the stage for everything else to work and it makes it VERY difficult for anything else to work if you are nont doing it...that is our experience....gains on the diet within 9 days!.. At two weeks began playing with sister and trying with kids again...blowing raspberries and copying the baby's moves, on purpose as if at play with her...stomping to music to the beat and laughing.....95% eye contact back, joint referencing startingup again, MUCH happier, all opening and closing of doors in a stimmy way - GONE. We have yeast issues left over from our GFCF experiment - bad idea as we did way too many sugars starches and carbs to compensate for things removed...our son's response to the diet has been so great that we drove him over to meet Stan to get Stan's advice about where to go from here....we would not have tried the diet if we had not read his opinions about it. Thank God

we dove in.....begin there. It does no harm , it may transform her and guide you in how you can completely recover her...Good Luck. Di
