Guest guest
I did double check. The Pharmacist called the Neurologist, and I am on 1250mg (25 of the 50mg tablets) every second day for 10 days. Yesterday was horrendous, and I am not looking forward to tomorrow when I go through getting the Prednisone down again. It's temporary, and worth a try if it's going to restore my vision. They are hoping it will give me back the feeling on the left side of my body as well. I've been doing a bit of research, and some believe that MS is also an auto-immune disease as well. RA affects the joints, and MS affects the brain (neurological). I don't know if I got one from the other or what has caused me to be diagnosed with 3 auto-immune diseases in less than one year, but as I mentioned before, I am going to have all my mercury fillings removed from my mouth in the new year. Thanks to all who have posted and sent information. It's hard for me to type or read now, but I find it very reassuring to check the board. Happy Holidays! > > Hi ...I have never been on more than 80mg of prednisone at one dose time. I have never heard of such a high dose, but then I am not familiar with current MS treatments. Perhaps you should call your pharmacist and verify the correct dosage and ask if your symptoms are typical? I 'vibrated' when on 80mg...I cannot imagine how you are feeling. I am sorry, kiddo. I hope this helps. > > Love & hugs... > > Tess > > >
