Apparently this is not uncommon. I have heard moms of typical kids

treating this.

Were the red bumps only near the anus or more spread out?

He was red only near the anus. I really thought that what I was seeing

was a yeast infection. He kept wanted to scratch his rear end, so I

thought that maybe he had picked up a parasite somewhere. When the

doctor looked at his rear end, he knew immediately that it was a strep

infection. Now getting my guy to comply with taking antibiotics to

treat the infection has been the hardest. I have tried everything you

can think of to get the medicine in him. I just called the doctor's

office and they are prescribing a topical antibiotic for him. Wish me

luck!
