Hi ,

Yes I do have to contend with the cold. This is Alaska after all. *smile*

It is a rather warm 21 degrees outside according to my thermometer. Our

highs this time of year usually stay around 5 to 10. Lows are somewhere

between -10 and -25.

I think if I did that on a dog sled, Rick would have a heart attack for

sure. lol

Be Well,

Yan

> Nice to meet you Yanosz. I'm sorry for all of your trials. I have to

tell you that I used to type for a neurologist and he had a patient with

horrible headaches and back pain. Her kids talked her into riding on a dog

sled and she fell off and was pulled behind it stretched out for a long

while. After that she was completely cured. Her headaches disappeared.

I'm not suggesting you try it, mind you, even though you have access. I'm

guessing the dog sledding means that you also have to contend with the

cold. Owww!

Wow, another Alaskan

Hiya from Palmer area here. As for the cold, it seems to have left

us. All my snow is melting. Makes me very mad.

I'm afraid I missed your intro. I seem to only get to this list

mail sporadically these days. I am going through the trying to get a

diagnosis phase and I believe my rheumy is leaning toward ankylosing

spondylitis though i don't have the markers for it. I'm on mtx and

prednisone.

I'm hoping the mtx is gonna help and I think it is, but I'm not sure

yet.

Anyway, hi again from alaska also.

So all the snow is melting? Down here in the heart of east Texas it was 12

degrees this morning! Last weekend we set a new high record, and this weekend

(almost) set a new low. We're not used to this cold stuff. It also helps amplify

the hurts and even finds new ones, so it seems.

I hope the mtx helps, any relief is good.

Dennis, my dd# 3 is at college in East Texas. She sure was wishing

for snow. We live outside Dallas about 25 miles, and the highway was

solid ice for about 20 miles, not to mention having to use a

screwdriver to hack the car doors open yesterday! what a nightmare.

These bones are not used to 12 degrees for sure~
