Guest guest
I just got off the phone with a guy that works at the Special Ed Co-Op. I'm not sure what his title is, but he told me, and I am quoting verbatim, they are, " not responsible for maximizing education " . That they base special needs on " academic achievement " so it " does not include Asperger Syndrome " . When it comes to the re-evaluation, they do not " go searching " for needs. And that it's " specially designed instruction " which my son doesn't have a need for. And that's why I need a lawyer to go to the ARD with me in April.
