Kathe~ Tess - leg pain question

Hi Kathe...my doctor says I have shin splints! Can you imagine...I thought

those were something that runners got! My doctor says I have to exercise my

legs to strength the material (cannot remember the medical name) that covers my

shin bones. She also suggested icing them before I lay down at night.

Brrr...that sounds so chilly for bedtime, but I will try it.
