Guest guest Posted December 6, 2005 Report Share Posted December 6, 2005 Hello all, Does anyone in the group also have sleep apnea and by any chance are you on CPAP? I just had a sleep study last night and was told I had sleep apnea and would benefit from the CPAP machine which they put me on. I have not slept that deeply in years and I was not aware of how many times I was waking up. It is really annoying. I am excited about the prospect of getting more oxygen at night and sleeping better so maybe some of this awful fatigue will dissipate. Now I know not all of it is from the RA. I am willing to try the machine now matter how annoying it may be if it means a better quality of life for me and my family. I am also hoping that it my help improve my RA. They say sleep affects everything including healing and your immune system. Who knows right? Well, please anyone who is in the same position, I would love to hear back from you.
