Guest guest Posted February 25, 2006 Report Share Posted February 25, 2006 I see Dr. Iwata is coming to Austin. I attended Dr. Iwata's 2-day conference in Houston in December '04. It was very helpful for anyone dealing with difficult behaviors and wanting to figure out what is maintaining those behaviors (escape, attention, etc.) I have a strong educational background in behavioral psychology, so even though it was mostly professionals at the conference it was helpful to me as a parent. (Note: I contacted Walt Antonow and because they still had space I was able to ask for a discounted " parent " rate. It never hurts to ask.)
