Call your local MHMR about the program, the way it was explained to me is after the age of 18 a parent is not " required " to provide support to their own children and thus, if you provide housing and assistance to your child, you will get a stipend for " taking " care of your child. Make sense? I was told they will do it under age 18 if grandma, aunt, uncle, sister, brother etc is housing them.
