Guest guest
A couple of years ago when my son was in pre-K, there was a child named in my son's class who was rather large compared to the other children. I met his mom and I asked her about his size and she told me he was on Dr. Kendal 's protocol of growth hormone and antiviral meds. She told me the same thing--that Dr. said he was going to cure her son! I didn't know what was like before the treatment but his mom said he had improved, was talking more, and had grown 2 inches in 6 months, yikes! I also overheard the speech therapist say was more social and talkative. The following school year went to another school so I haven't seen him since then. C. Guest guest
All I've heard is that he prescribes Acyclovir (viral suppressant used for Herpes infections), but have not heard from any parents of " cured " kids. But may be I'm being to critical? Is there something to his anti-viral protocol? I'm listening. T

The anti-viral protocol is just the first step. He maintains that drawing the virus out of the nerves, and then removal of metals, and the addition of HGH, nutritional support, etc. for re-myeliniation will help any neurological disorder. He may make a comment like " your son is very high functioning " but he doesn't care what a child's diagnosis is. He doesn't treat autism, he treats children. He's not unique, either, from what I understand. DAN!s use antivirals. Evan's improvement was slow, but marked. At first things were subtle, he used language in a more sophisticated way. Then he started doing better in therapy, flapped less, etc. There was no real point where we said " he's much more normal " but his PT and OT comment almost weekly on how much stronger, more controlled, better he seems. The tympanograms and balance tests show he's generally more organized, although I don't think even Dr. ever gets a TRULY accurate picture, since it seems like every time we go to Austin to his office, Evan's allergies flare up! Our insurance covers the office visits 100% and Evan's Medicaid picks up the Valtrex that we have compounded into a liquid for him. We feel it's been helpful & we'll continue I guess until we don't feel that way anymore...
