The further into chelation we got the less it happened and finally ended. Hope this is helpful,
Guest guest
The first week of my son being at 750 mg a day of Valtrex he had 2 accidents. It only lasted a day, nothing since. I've heard of kids being on Valtrex and having some issues, a form of regression, perhaps? Guest guest
Yeast/yeast die off tends to make my son have accidents. Guest guest
we looked into LOD a lot.....it doesn't seem to be the issue for us.....at least in terms of food. i have emailed with susan from LOD. chris peter's mom Have you looked into oxalates? If you are doing SCD with lots of nuts or GFCF with lots of alternative grains (quinoa, buckwheat, etc.) or things like stevia, your level of oxalates could be extremely high and causing these pee accidents. We were SCD very high oxalates (lots of spinach, eggplant, tomatoes, nuts and tons of almond bread) and out little one could not control her sphincters anymore. Went SCD low oxalate and besides the resolution of all peeing incidents we got some added bonuses like needed energy, incredibly improved motor skills and cognitive skills. I'm an RDI consultant in training and I'm seeing in lots of the kids I see oxalate issues, urinary, scratching their genitals, pain, oxalates should not be forgotten. Also many things that do not seem " dietary " like quality of communication (ie " water " , vs. " I'm thirsty, could I get a drink? " ) seem to get better rather quickly when lowering oxalates. It's not hard to adjust, more info on trying_low_oxalates another yahoo! group. In the files there's info on how to get started.HTH (from Brussels)... > >> > have any of your children experienced pee accidents (despite being> > toilet trained for years)when taking probiotics, antibiotics or> > antifungals.> >> > My son who is prone to UTI's has experienced this while on all 3.Any> > input greatly appreciated.> >> > > >>
