TCIP - Texas Continuous Improvement Process

WHAT:

Region 4 Education Service Center is hosting a public meeting on behalf of the

Texas Education Agency to gather input on special education in Texas. All

interested parties are welcome to attend. This meeting is a part of the Texas

Continuous Improvement Process (TCIP) and is not a public hearing.

The primary purpose of the meeting is to gain your input on the following topic

areas: (1) access to the general curriculum; (2) statewide assessments and (3)

parent participation. Your input will help the State and Regions identify and

address areas for improvement and build on current strengths related to the

provision of special education. Input will be gathered only on those topics.

questions or concerns about your child, please contact the special education

office in your district or the TEA the Parent Information Line (1-).

Your call will be answered by a staff member from the TEA Complaints Management

Unit.
