Guest guest
Make sure they have started and are focusing on your boys transition plans. Have they done a person-centered planning session for the boys yet? If not, make sure they do. Some of the tests I would recommend for their three year re eval would center around functional skills...make sure that they test adaptive skills (Vineland or SIB-R) because the results of those tests are essential for transition planning. They need to do some vocational testing as part of this eval as well. Ensure that functional social skills are tested. These all will relate to how well the boys are able to get and keep any kind of job after they transition out of school. Anything past age 12 should be looking toward testing areas that will translate into goals and objectives aimed at transitioning out of school. Good luck. nna
