Guest guest Posted October 7, 2005 Report Share Posted October 7, 2005 Do either of you have any info on Vasculitis of the skin? I am having difficulty finding any indepth information. My PCP thinks that the skin lesions I have been developing could be that. Sad thing is, I can't get in to see a dermatologist for biopsies until mid December!! I'm gonna have to talk to one of the plastic surgeons I work with and see if he could take care of it for me. If I wait until December I don't think I will have any skin left!! They drain, a lot, and it is very caustic to the healthy skin surrounding the leasion. I have one on my abdomen that started out at the size of a quarter and now, due to the drainage, it has grown to the size of a silver dollar. I feel like I'm falling apart!! Also, do you have any info on leasions of the mouth and throat? I have that, too. They go down as far as the epiglottis and are very painful. I have a great deal of difficulty swallowing, anything, including water. On the plus side, I have lost 20 pounds over the last 4 weeks because of this!! I have to go see an Oral Pathologist at OSU on monday because of them. My ENT doc is very concerned, and I am very miserable. He wants them biopsied and I'm not looking forward to that!!
