Guest guest
i think the goal has always been to provide health care rather than health insurance. what isn't mentioned in the article is what vic's annual income is after overhead. wrt to pedro's reference to judges not being paid well enough to work in public service, and regarding working in public health/community clinics, why are the doctors the least paid of all? typically a family doctor working in such a facility makes about $100,000/yr, often less. i know, i used to be one. yet when it comes to judges, school superintendents, state and federal representatives, attorneys, we're (family doctors) again on the bottom end of the scale.
