This is interesting to me. Our recovered girl was just found allergic, not to food, but dust mites. Can you say how you use the spray and how often and under what circumstances?

Thanks,

Re: All natural allergy medicines/nasal sprays

Our son was incapacitated by seasonal allergies in April 06, and April 07. Our whole family has been using NOW activated nasal mist and/or Xlear spray since May and to say that it has hugely, positively affected our lives is not an understatement. We still have our son on singulair granuals for its anti-inflamation properties, only positives with that medicine. However we have stopped using anything else -- we don't need to. Both sprays are widely available online.Good luck.>> Hello all,> > Does anyone use an all natural allergy/cold medication, preferrably liquid, which they have seen good results from? How about natural nasal sprays for cold/allergy relief. I am in the process of switching my daughter, 5 yrs. old, to all natural meds. to see if she responds well. She currently uses Clarinex, Nasonex and Singulair. We have just switched to the Singulair granules instead of the chewables. I will probably keep her on this. But I'd love to get rid of the Clarinex and Nasonex. She also uses Xopenex with the nebulizer for her allergy related asthma. Since starting the DAN supplement protocal a year ago she's only needed to use the Xopenex on 3 separate occasions. This is down from about 20 times yearly. So I'm not too worried about the Xopenex usage. Its the daily Clarinex and Nasonex that bothers me. She has extreme anxieties and suffers from panic attacks. After reading several posts on these, I'm thinking they may be connected. Any advice or suggestions appreciated.> > Thanks> > Karmen>

Dear ,

We use it like any other nasal spray. It's funny nasal spray is one

of those things that we always did privately i.e. in the bathroom for

fear of the kids copying what we do. So we had to start using nasal

spray in front of them, a little more casually. But we always talked

about it as medicine or I need to wash my nose.

My son, particularly under the influence of seasonal allergies was a

weepy, crying mess. We tried dripping it into his nose but it seemed

to choke him, he couldn't coordinate the sniffing part, he hated it.

So we just started telling him it was medicine, showing him, and

asking him to take a " sniff " and we give the bottle a quick spray or

pump. Yes, this is messy in the beginning. More goes on the floor

than anyplace else.

It happened in the spring I also heard somewhere that 80% of the

population has fungas in their nasal cavities -- which seemed

shocking and horrid to me but might just be one of those facts like

fungas in your toes that is not a big deal and I just never knew

about it. HOWEVER, my nose truly feels different and so much better.

And my husband I swear used to take at least two sudaphed every

single day. Now, the box ran out months ago and he's never bought

another one.

I hope it works for you.

We like it too. I give it to my son when he is asleep. Unfortunately, he will not tolerate it when he is awake.

Thanks, ,

How often do you use it, daily? She has no more sensory issues but I'm thinking for any child nose spray might seem weird, but we'll try it.
