I know how rude and inconsiderate others can be. I worked in the public

and had a mother come in with her son that had tourettes. One of the

employees kept making comments about the child and his barking. I told

the young man that the child had a disability and hopefully he would

never have one as he was threatening to put him in the institute. We

are truely the ones that are blessed to know and love these children. I

don't want pity and I don't want glory for what has been accomplished

with my child, I just want understanding that our children are human

also and have the same feelings and wants that most other children

have. We as parents and grandparents know this but the public is so

unaware as to what is going on in the world.
