Guest guest Posted January 2, 2007 Report Share Posted January 2, 2007 The article discussed the problems of federal judges not being paid sufficiently in comparison with what they could make in a private law firm. I think the situation is analogous for physicians except for the time line. Practicing physicians may not be able to decide that reimbursements are too low and change professions, but future college students may decide not to go into medicine, or at least primary care, because other things are more lucrative. That may have an enormous impact as the baby boomer generation ages. Dan Re: being able to determine financial viability, among other things.
