Although, my RA dr. didn't up that medication dosage when he upped the methotrexate dosage. Which when I was taking only 4 a week I never had the sore throat. My throat started hurting within a couple of days of taking the higher dose and has not stopped since. I will be calling my dr. tomorrow.
